THE FOUNDING JOURNEY

Many years ago, our clinic started out (called Focus Phyisotherapy) as a physiotherapy only clinic. After several years, the clinic became an allied health clinic (called Focus Allied Health) that eventually evolved into PureLife HealthCare, July 2021.

As a practicing Psychologist for more than 20 years and as a former nurse, I have based myself in Allambie Heights within the Northern Beaches for more than 17 years. During this time, I have gained a heart-warming reputation with a large following throughout Allambie Heights and surrounding Northern beaches communities.

In 2019, already a practicing psychologist at Focus Allied Health, I took up the offer to become a partner in the clinic. Two years later, 2021, I acquired the remaining share and took ownership of the clinic.

Since then, the clinic has been completely revamped and rebranded as PureLife HealthCare with ongoing iterations that continue to better serve the community.

Our name change to PureLife HealthCare is a reflection of our core purpose: a health care provider with specialist practitioners from a range of disciplines that deliver comprehensive care for our patient's needs.

By pivoting in a different direction, we have become an integrated provider of health services and products the community seek for specialised and personalised mental and physical well-being improvement.  

Our collective multidisciplinary health team offer a range of dynamic health services across varying types of medical conditions, injuries and dysfunctions.

We work hard to provide high quality treatments that include Psychology, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Podiatry and Nutrition are personalised that concentrate on our motto: "Balance & Strength" the mental & physical health improvement that leads to a fulfilling quality healthy life. 

Most treatments are covered by Medicare or Private Health funds. Depending on the type of treatment, in certain circumstances a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP Doctor would be essential.

We also work with CTP / Workers Compensation and Veteran Affairs clients requiring specialist treatment referred by a Medical Practitioner.  As a veteran psychologist of over 20 years, my psychological services extend with patients throughout Australia (via Telehealth) as well as working with large corporate Australian companies conducting onsite “Mental-Well-Being” workshops for C-Level Management and Employees.
